Following is a list of some of the benefits of Membership in
and activities of the Oklahoma Land Title Association

EDUCATION: The OLTA continues to be the Number One provider for continuing education courses for the title insurance licensees. In addition we provide training schools for abstractors, both on beginning and advanced levels. Most of our statewide general meetings are geared to an education emphasis.

OLTA STATE-WIDE MEETINGS: All members of our Association are welcome to attend our regularly scheduled meetings held during the year for programs on current information, managerial skills, and human relations topics. The Annual Convention, the Summer Meeting, Regional Meetings, and the Owner-Managers Meeting also afford our members the opportunity to discuss issues and solutions with fellow title industry associates.

ABSTRACTORS HANDBOOK: A product of our Education Committee. This valuable reference and study tool is updated regularly to provide the most comprehensive material on every aspect of the title industry

LEGISLATION: Our effective and ongoing presence at the Capitol has yielded dividends for our Association and its members. We are now perceived by the Oklahoma Legislature as a much more united voice. This has been accomplished through the dues support and personal participation of our members. On the legislative front, we must move forward to avoid falling behind. Your continued membership in the OLTA will allow the Association to continue its forward movement on your behalf.

PUBLICATIONS: Our dues-paid members receive regular communications about the activities of the Association in the form of the "Titlegram" and the "Minigram". Also, in recent years, we have put out a publication called the "OLTA Directory." This is a handy guide providing information about our members and their various services.

OLTA LOGO AND MEMBERSHIP REPRESENTATIONS: Membership in the OLTA allows each dues-paid member to display the official OLTA logo on their abstract certificates and in their offices. Additionally, the member may include a representation that the company is a member of the OLTA on business stationary. These privileges are reserved for the exclusive use of dues-paid members.
