The Okie TiPAC Silent Auction is coming up at the annual convention and the stakes are high again this year. This auction has been a major fund raising effort over the past several years and your participation has made this event a great success. The cost of being involved in the legislative process is increasing each year and we need your help to continue to stay involved.
The convention this year is set for April 29-May 1, at the Marriott Hotel in Oklahoma City. The theme this year is, "Welcome to Oklahomaville: Life's a Beach at the OLTA!"
Our auction organizers, Barry Schmulbach, Pat Beall and Kristi Morrow, have set a goal of $10,000 for Okie TiPAC and they need your help.
Here's a suggested Top Ten List of items that could bring in BIG BUCKS for the Okie TiPAC:
10. Travel vouchers or airline tickets
9. Weekend getaways (Do you have a bed & breakfast in your area? Possibly a popular lake resort?)
8. Sporting event tickets (Some of you have season tickets to OU/OSU games! Share.)
7. Concert/musical/opera tickets for events coming to your area.
6. Golf packages/golf equipment. Fore!
5. Local art. Support your local artist!
4. Local products. How about Porter peaches!
3. Computer/office equipment/gadgets
2. Spa days. Everyone needs a little beauty in their life.
1. Anything to do with kids!
These are just a few suggestions to help make this year's event even more creative and successful. Call auction committee member Kristi Morrow at 918.682.7727 before the convention to let her and committee members know ahead of time what you will be donating. Or you may contact any Board member anytime Thursday or Friday during the convention to drop off your auction items.
As usual, you may place your bids before, during and after dinner on Friday evening. Bids will be finalized after the entertainment and successful bidders will be announced. Don't forget to bring your personal checkbook to pay for your purchases. All items are appreciated! And, thanks in advance for your donations. See you Friday night, April 30 at the auction.

About Rose Creek Golf Course...
Collared shirts and soft spikes are required. Rose Creek is a brand new course in northwest Oklahoma City and should be a fun time for everyone.
$55 individual entry fee includes:
