'Tis the season when we collect items for the annual Okie TiPAC Silent Auction, set for the night of April 22, during the 2005 OLTA Annual Convention. As you all know, last year was the best year yet, and in keeping suit, organizers want to raise at least $15,000 this year. This year's theme is, "Bedlam Bash for Bragging Rights" and attendees are encouraged to wear your favorite school colors — red and white, orange and black or whatever your favorite team may be.
Auction organizers Barry Schmulbach, Pat Beall, Kris Morrow, Cindy Kennedy and Tresa Hardin are needing your help. Following is a list of some suggested items that would be great items at the auction. In addition, log on to www.shopoklahoma.com to see some great products made right here in Oklahoma that would be great auction items. And, don't forget ... ANY TICKETS TO MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Or, how about some concert tickets to upcoming concerts?

5. Local art. Support your local artist!
4. Local products. How about Porter peaches!
3. Computer/office equipment/gadgets
2. Spa days. Everyone needs a little beauty in their life.
1. Anything to do with kids!
These are just a few suggestions to help make this year's event even more creative and successful. Call Kris Morrow at 918/682-7727 before the convention to let her know ahead of time what you will be donating. Or, you may contact any Board member anytime Thursday or Friday during the convention to drop off your donations.
Remember, bigger is better, so dig deep in your pockets when you go to do your Okie TiPAC Auction shopping. Don't forget to bring your personal checkbook to pay for purchases. And, don't forget to wear your favorite school colors. See you in Oklahoma City.
