Golf Tourney Winners Celebrate
The 2005 Okie TiPAC Golf Tournament, held this year at Rose Creek Golf Club in conjunction with the OLTA Annual Convention, was a big success! Forty golfers showed up on a great spring morning to play and benefit a great cause. To make the celebration even more special, OSU's Pistol Pete made a surprise appearance to present the trophies. Duncan, Oklahoma
We are sad to report that former OLTA president Ollie Askins passed away on June 19 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Services were held at the First Christian Church there. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Christian Church Youth Trust Fund or the Duncan Public Schools Foundation. Askins was president of OLTA in 1964-65. He will be missed.

OLTA Membership Directory Available
OLTA is proud to announce the publication of a new 2005-06 Membership Directory. Sue Bailey and the members of the OLTA Public Relations & Membership Committee realized that there was a need and set about working to create the new and improved directory, which was unveiled at the annual convention in April.
The new directory is a quick reference guide highlighting the the OLTA Mission Statement, Code of Ethics and Bylaws. In addition, it includes a list of OLTA members by county, by individual name, by underwriters and by associates with contact information.
The initial distribution of the Membership Directory was limited to OLTA member companies. However, a copy of the directory may be obtained for $15.00 by contacting the OLTA office at 405/840-1944.
